Social networks: Kabakoudou warns against people who create fake accounts in his name
While staying in the United States of America, Guinean comedian Sékouba Bangoura, alias Kabakoudou, took the opportunity to regularize his digital communication, notably his official Facebook page. Very surprised by the number of fake accounts (40) created in his name, the native of Kindia said he was shocked by this attitude of his compatriots who profit from his works without his consent. In a four-minute video posted on social networks, he calls out and threatens the perpetrators.
The Grand Devise pair specifies that their official account is “Kabakoudou Kalymata tv” on Facebook and “Kabakoudou Kalymata JKO” on YouTube. Any other account is false.
“I ask people who create fake accounts to stop. The artist is nourished by his works. If you don’t support the artist and help him promote his official account on social media, then leave him alone. Do not create a fake account in your name. Here in the USA I was shown all the fake accounts created in my name. When I saw this, I was very disappointed with some people in Conakry. I won’t mention their names, because I know they feed off people’s works. They look at me in this video, they recognize themselves. It was thanks to Mohamed Fofana, here in California, that I was able to detect all of this. He has all the means to help artists. He got me into a network. I will tell all my compatriots, those who have created fake Kabakoudou accounts, we have detected 40 fake Kabakoudou accounts here. On the other hand, my official account is “Kabakoudou Kalymata tv” on Facebook and “Kabakoudou Kalymata JKO” on YouTube. Any other Kabakoudou Facebook page is a fake account.
Today I was shown all the fake accounts. When I saw this, I grabbed my head. I’m making this video to warn people. If you stop, it’s good for you, because all these fake accounts will be closed. We have to stop, artists feed on their works. Compared to everything I discovered here in the United States, back in Conakry, there are people that I won’t even greet anymore… they feed on our images while we are not aware of them,” lamented the actor.
